Photo Fun: Waterbirds Field Trip Results From Arrowhead Marsh (BELOW)

Trish Powell from our Waterbirds class at Merritt College shared some photos of our 4/7/18 field trip to Arrowhead Marsh in Oakland.

Can you see the Ridgway's Rail? The bottom photo shows two together....Above it, one is "swimming" across the slough....(!)

Lucky us: Amazing, long, statuesque looks at a federally and state endangered species (!)

Our class continues through the initial weekend in May....Next: BIOL 80C, Introduction to Ornithology, which is now present for registration at peralta.edu
