Thank you for the guest instructor experience at the Merritt "Raptors Of The SF Bay Area" class

As a brief note, I wish to note my appreciation for the guest appearance I enjoyed (on 3/1625) while teaching at the recent Merritt raptor field trip to Hawk Hill and nearby.

Glad my presence was able to spot a few interesting bird sightings, though (as you may suspect), no raptors were seen for a March visit to Hawk Hill in comparison to one from mid-August - November, annually.

Nonetheless, the two Black Oystercatcher on the rocks below Pt. Bonita were interesting along with the Pelagic Cormorant group nearby.

Meanwhile, I hope to again soon be invited for more instruction.

Please stay tuned here....though my web site notes other field class instruction I'm soon conducting, including a San Francisco State Univ. session at its Sierra Nevada Field Station near Downieville at 6,600'.

I'll again be teaching my annual "Birding By Ear In The Sierra Nevada Mountains" class from 6/15 - 6/20/25 this year.

Wish to know more (including registration info.)? Please let me know at DanielEdelstein@att.net

My web site — WarblerWatch.com — features a "Birding Tours" area for my ongoing Bird Guide role that I've enjoyed since the 1980s.

Regards, Daniel
